The patient was unhappy with the spacing and chipped corners on her front teeth and desired to improve her smile. Porcelain veneers were placed on her front six teeth.

This patient did not like the appearance of the older, discolored fillings in his front teeth. Porcelain crowns were placed on his front four teeth. The patient expressed a desire for the edges of the front two teeth to be uneven to give the illusion of a more natural appearance.

This patient shows classical tetracycline staining, giving the teeth a grayish or purplish tint. Tooth whitening is only mildly effective at lightening tetracycline-stained teeth. Ten porcelain veneers were selected to cover the staining on the teeth visible when smiling. The patient opted not to restore the lower teeth at this time.
